If you are in Ulaanbaatar, One of the must see near Ulaanbaatar is the Great Genhis Khan's statue complex and Terelj national park in one day! Combine two adventures in one on this full day excursion from Ulaanbaatar. First, visit the largest equestrian statue in the world at the Genghis Khan Statue Complex, where you can also take souvenir, taken photos with traditional Mongolian clothing. Continue on to Terelj National Park, the most accessible natural park from the capital city. Will attend to fascinating horse show at Terelj National Park. It is a 1 hour horse show with around 30 horse riders. Have late lunch at Turtle Rock and afternoon heading back to Ulaanbaatar. You would arrive to ub by around 5-6 pm.

Statue Complex of the Chinggis Khan

All foreign tourists and local tourists would at least once be interested to visit our statue as it is the world’s tallest horseman architectural monument which is also the symbol of our country where tourists would take photos, souvenirs and videos for keepsakes which will be a great marketing throughout the world. Not only the magnificent statue also helped us to promote Mongolia and remember our history through the world once again but also takes a bigger place in the tourism sector in Mongolia.

The complex which is 54 km away from Ulaanbaatar city placed in “ Tsonjin Boldog” historical place Erdene soum, Tuv province near by the Tuul river was first erected in year 2006 and completed in year 2008.

The total area is 212 hectare and the statue is built in center of the complex. The statue is 40 meters high including the base. The round shaped base is 10 meters high and its 30 meters diameter where Chinggis Khan’s museums, exhibition hall, restaurants, bar, meeting hall and souvenir shops are located.

The architecture of the statue is simply stunning with visitors walking to the head of the horse through its chest and neck of the horse, or simply taking the lift, where they can have a panoramic view so the people can appreciate the other mountains view surrounding the statue.

The statue will be surrounded by over 200 ger camps fully equipped with modern furniture and historical designs currently we have 20 ger camps built.

The ger camps locations will be designed in the shapes of old stamps, from the top view, belonged to Mongolian tribes during the 13^th century.

During the night, it will look like shining stars as it will be lighted with many bon fires.
